Results and Conclusion
We were able to carry out a small scale kitchen lab experiment, the steps followed in this experiment are shown below.
The result of this lab scale experiment is shown in Figure 7. The waste from the process was 10%, of which 6% was vegetable waste that can be sent back to the farm to be recycled and used as compost. Since our process in lab mimics the plant process, we were assured of minimum waste and an energy efficient process. To ensure that our product turned out well, we did a sensory analysis. Figures 8,9,10,11 and 12 show the feedback we received for each of the features of our product.
