Nidhi graduated from Purdue with a degree in Biological Engineering with a focus in Cellular and Biomolecular Engineering. She also has a minor in Biotechnology. She has keen interest in engineering biological processes, protein chemistry, genetics, fermentation technology, drug development and pharmaceutical engineering.
On rare occasions, when she is not working on her senior design, you may catch her watching TV, playing sports, eating(her number one favorite thing to do) or trying to get some sleep(something she truly cherishes). She is a huge fan of tennis player Roger Federer and loves watching tennis. She also loves playing basketball, soccer, squash and badminton. Some of her favorite TV shows are The Big Bang Theory, Breaking Bad, Friends, Prison Break and Dexter. She is huge fan of the National Geographic Channel and can spend hours watching their shows and reading their amazing magazines. Apart from that, she is an avid reader and some of her favorite authors are Agatha Christie, John Grisham, Jeffrey Archer and Lee Child. She also regularly worships the Engineering bible a.k.a Transport Processes and Separation Principles by C.J Geonkoplis.
After graduating, she will be pursuing her PhD. in Translational Biology, Health and Medicine at Virginia Tech. She would like to spend her life carrying out research that can be translated into useful consumer products in the future. She would also like to teach and impart the knowledge she has acquired and in the process hopes to inspire the future generation of engineers and scientists.

Puja is known for her cooking. She finds solace in creating the perfect concoction of spices and uses that same perspective in her lab work .She is dual majoring in Biological engineering and Biochemistry. Puja is interested in designing equipment for process engineering. She is equally interested in the physiological research area. During her three years of research experience in a physiological research lab, she has mastered in dissection of arteries and also has experience in leading a research group.
Her hobbies include singing (not a bathroom singer but a trained one) and painting. Her specialty is oil painting with musings in feminine articulacy and nature. If she is not drowning in textbooks, she is has her eyes glued to the screen catching the episodes of her favorite TV shows which include Friends, Once upon a Time, House of Cards and of recently Game of Thrones. She takes off the edge with a good comedy or animated movie-her most watched being Hotel Transylvania and Frozen.

Her recent endeavor being the Yellowstone National Park where she tried connecting with the beauty of the nature.
